Dinner Party Information

Sun & Moon Logo - from Princess InvitationsLocation: Biscayne Bay Marriott

Many of you will be staying at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel. We also will be staying there. The Biscayne BayMarriot is right across the street. I don't know if we'll be walking over, considering this is a formal dress occasion and it's pretty darn hot in Miami during July. But it's pretty convenient if you ask me. It will certainly make it possible for us to be in an entourage.

For those of you looking for accommodations, I would recommend either hotel at this point. Please go to Marriott.com for more information on reservations (look for the special deals!). On the left hand side of the site is a reservation system. You can search for hotels in Miami, and you will find the Renaissance Miami Biscayne Bay (where the McDaniels, the Northingtons, and Braden and I will stay for sure) and the Biscayne Bay Marriott Hotel & Marina (where we are hosting the event. If you are at all confused, contact Gina (me) and I'll be more than happy to explain it further.

I'd like to thank Terry for giving us the wonderful idea to look into it and I'd like to thank Axel (my Dad) for making the necessary arrangements. Here is the pertinent information:

Warning!!! It is REALLY hot in July in Miami. DO NOT WEAR WOOL!!
This event is set to be outside, though we do have inside reserved in case it's really ridiculous (which is a strong possibility). Please try to dress accordingly. Though I'd like this to be formal, strapless and slinky is not out of the question. I myself plan to wear a sleeveless dress and something with a LOT of room in the skirt. I would advise that you all start looking for something appropriately LIGHT as soon as possible. If we are lucky, it will have rained in the morning and it won't be so bad.
